The ‘Full Gospel Pentecostal Church’ (FGPC) was established in 1933 by late Pastor J. Johnrose. The first Church was started in Kadamalaikuntu in Kanyakumari District, Tamil Nadu, India.
After the demise of the Founder in 1977, Pastor N. Thomas took charge as the President. After his death in 2002, Pastor I. Vinil Sathish assumed the Office of the President and leading the organization till date.
Motto of the Organization“For the perfecting of the Saints,For the work of the Ministry For the edifying of the Body of Christ” (Ephesians 4 : 12).
Full Gospel Pentecostal Church is a registered Society under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act 1975, vide Reg. S. No. 64/95.
The National Headquarters of the Organization is situated at Door No. 16/70C, Kadamalaikuntu, Kothanallur Panchayat, Mekkamandapam Post, Kanyakumari District, Tamilnadu.
ull Gospel Pentecostal Church is one form of Christian faith.We have framed our own bye laws and we have also published our Constitution governing our religious faith and administration.The Executive Committee of the Organization consists of 11 members. And the General Body consists of 25 members.
At present there are nearly 350 Churches in India under the umbrella of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.In South India, we have presence in 34 Districts as follows: Tamilnadu – 30 Districts; Kerala – 1 District; Karnataka – 1 District; Andhra Pradesh – 1 District.
In North India, we have presence in 19 States.For administrative efficacy, our Churches are managed under five Ministerial Districts: Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Coimbatore and Thiruchirappalli in South India; and Pilibhit in North India.At present there are nearly 350 Churches in India under the umbrella of Full Gospel Pentecostal Church.
In supportive of our Church Ministry, we have 12 sub-Ministerial Boards that look after Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, Youth, Family Fellowship, Missionary works, Charity, Literature and Media, Theological Training, Outreach Ministry, Educational Guidance and Prayer Promotion.We run two orphanages for children in Tamilnadu – one is ‘Bethel Girls Home’ in Odaikkarai, Tirunelveli District; the other one is ‘Samuel Boys Home’ in Mulankuzhi, Kanyakumari District. Also our Old-age Home ‘Kiruba Bhavan’ is nearing completion in Maruthurkurichi Village, Kanyakumari District.
